Music exists in every human's life in more ways than they might expect. Whether at shopping malls, flea markets, dinners, or even work, the average person listens to hours of music every day without even knowing it. Worse yet, the average person has very little understanding of what music is, and how it works. The purpose of this book is to help the non-music person learn about the incredible inner works on music and the theory behind it. Together we will explore music's foundational topics in an easy to understand, and logical, way with the goal of helping all people have a deeper appreciation for the music that is being made all around us.
