Overview

Lesson Learned is a collection of stories, illustrations and applications that I’m sure each of you can relate to, because at one time or another they’ve probably happened to you as well. The longer you’re in youth ministry the more stories you’ll accumulate, and the more Lessons you will learn.

The Lessons never stop, it’s what I do with the learnings that’s the key.

God still chooses to use us, young and old to fulfill His purposes, the question is “are we ready and willing to Learn and apply what He desires from the lessons He sends?”

Brent Carl, M.S., BCCC

Brent has been in full time ministry since 1990. He loves to teach, preach, train and encourage people that God has a plan and they are a part of it!

He has served as a local church Student Ministries Pastor, a Regional Student Ministries Director, an international Youth Ministry trainer as well as a Regional Manager with an International Christian Relief agency.

Over the last several years Pastor Brent has traveled and spoken in churches, camps, conferences, Bible Colleges and Seminaries in Eastern Europe, Latin America, East Africa, Southeast Asia and many ministries across the United States.

Brent and his wife and 2 children live in Poughkeepsie, NY where He serves as the Pastor of English Ministries at the Mid-Hudson Chinese Christian Church.
