Overview

Leopold's Monster Anthology, is a collection of eight short horror stories focusing around eight different monsters. Inspired by the classic black and white Universal monster movies, this collection has a distinct monstrous vibe. Each short story is set in an ambiguous 1930's America, where monsters, curses and vengeful spirits are real. In this collection, Monsters are the priority. Monsters such as; Skin-walkers, The Arizonan Bigfoot, The Gasman, Demons, Witches, the Equine Raptor, Curses, and the Chupacabra make an appearance. Some of these monsters are classic and are well known. While others are brand new. All the while each monster gives a new twist to the genre as well as adding to the monster's lore.
One twist that was deliberately added to this collection was a genre mashing twist. Having monster stories that are only told as monster tales gets boring. Leopold's Monster Anthology will mix and match genres with the classic monster genre. Genres such as; murder mystery, hunting tale, thriller, whodunit, western, cop stories, and others are mixed effortlessly with the monster medium. Thus, giving new life to the monster genre.
