The book has a total of twenty-five texts covering twenty-five different topics. There is a table of contents at the beginning, and each chapter starts with a short text, followed by a mini dialogue and activities on writing, reading comprehension and Haitian Creole sounds practice. The Student's Book (Liv Etidyan) ends with a five-language glossary that includes Haitian Creole, English, French, Spanish, and German and has a corresponding Teacher's Book (Liv Pwofesè) with the answer keys to the activities in the Student's Book. To offer extended practice in all aspects of Haitian Creole, there are also three Activity Books (Liv Aktivite) spread across three levels, so beginning, intermediate and advanced students of Haitian Creole can extensively practice the language. The set includes an Assessment Book (Liv Evalyasyon) that measures the degree of the student's learning of the Student's Book. The Assessment Book is subdivided into five sections, with each section covering five chapters of the Student's Book.
