About the Author

Tamara Moody-Orise is an author, illustrator, poet, mother of three, and advocate of early childhood education. Tamara's love for reading led her to create stories for those too often left out. In thirteen years of working in the early childhood education field, Tamara has often searched for stories with characters that looked like the students in her classroom.
