About the Author

Dorothy Burley Tubman is a wife, mother, sister, grandmother, aunt, friend, retired government employee, advocate and you name it. She is very passionate about telling stories and sharing anecdotes that she calls "nuggets." These stories are routinely shared through word of mouth, social medial and are inspirational in nature with a biblical thread woven throughout. Although she has been sharing stories for years, her children's book, "Learning How To Celebrate Others", was her first attempt at authoring. However, over the years she has penned several writings on the love and power of Jesus Christ. Dorothy spent years as a manager with the federal government as a civilian employee and now that she's retired, she's busier than ever volunteering, writing, traveling and doing those things that she never quite had enough time to do. She is compiling all of the stories she has penned over the years under the heading of "Reflections," in order to share the incredible and indescribable faithfulness of Jesus Christ.
