Samantha Weiland is a passionate Educational Services Administrator & Children’s Book Author who currently resides and writes in Arcata, California. Born in Los Angeles, her passion for writing began early on and it has stayed with her ever since. As she began to recover from a recent heart surgery, Samantha wrote the very first six books of her “Tasha & Benji” series, all while creating a website especially for young children just starting their English language journey. Her work isn’t simply a job she does, it’s her life. When she’s not writing or teaching, Samantha enjoys reading thought-provoking books and remodeling her home using unique Pinterest-inspired ideas. Most importantly, she likes spending quality time with her family and loves to go camping with her husband and dog Benjamin. Samantha Weiland holds an M.A. in ESL Education and has been dedicated to teaching non-native English speakers for nearly two decades now.
