Margaret LeAnn Rimes was born August 28, 1982 and is an American country pop singer. In 1996, at the age of 13, Rimes made her debut and became famous with the release of the song “Blue” and also became the youngest country music star since Tanya Tucker (1972). “Blue” reached number 1 on the Top Country Albums chart and was noted as having a vocal style similar to Patsy Cline.
