About the Author

Thijs Panneman is a lean enthusiast by day and loves running and reading by night. Working for two different multinationals in the past decade, he has influenced lean transformations in over twenty manufacturing sites on different continents, explaining the why, what, and how of lean tools. To find the one tool to use in each situation to achieve results, he uses the knowledge of over a hundred management books that he has read which are also discussed on his popular blog www.mudamasters.com. In 2017, he reflects on everything he has learned and experienced from both the books he read and the practical experience in his first book: lean transformations, which explains the bigger picture of lean and how you can use lean tools to achieve company goals.
Thijs is currently working as Operational Excellence Expert for a European confectionary company, coaching different factories in the EMEA region on their lean journey.
