Spiritual and relational vitality is the life-giving power that faithful people experience together as they passionately pursue God's vision for their lives. All of us long to experience the power of spiritual and relational vitality in our lives and our congregations. In fact, this vitality provides the energy for congregational transformation. Unfortunately, many have given up hope of living with this spirit.

Suggested Actions to Foster Change

ACTIVITY 1-A Bible Study and Reflection

Objective To discern how our personal and congregational practices align with biblical descriptions of the early church. Process Reflect on the story of the early church, as recorded in Acts, and on your experience with God's transforming power.

ACTIVITY 1-B Assessment of Spiritual and Relational Vitality

Objective To determine the congregation's overall vitality and its readiness to move forward in the transformation process.
