Leadership Traps: Moses, I understand
Leaders it doesn't matter if you are leading in the church or in business, there will be situations and people that will exhaust your patience and provide the greatest frustration. Don't fall into the traps presented in leadership therefore forsaking the end goal of the effort or in Moses's case the promised land. Here is something to consider in your spiritual imagination, what if Moses wasn't disobedient in Numbers by striking the rock Numbers 20:10-13, but he was so frustrated in leading the people he decided to fire himself rather than go another step farther with the people.

About the Author

Rev. Antoine Taylor was born April 11, 1974 to Aslee Taylor and Willie Shelby. He was raised by his maternal great grandmother Mola Houston whom he learned how to cook, clean and sew and later by his grandmother Cada Buckner whom he cherishes. Rev. Taylor swore off the church and God after the death of his great grandmother and often jokes he doesn’t know how he got the call to preaching, but he says God has a way of getting his will done either by his death or his service.

Rev. Taylor attended Lane Technical High school where he met his wife of 23 years Kimberly Taylor whom they parent two sons Jonathan and Noah Taylor. Rev. Taylor received a double bachelors from University of Illinois at Chicago in Information Decision Sciences and Finance. Later Rev. Taylor would receive an MBA from University of Phoenix and his M.Div from North Park Theological Seminary.

Rev.Taylor has been a member of Oakdale Covenant Church since 2010 and pastored for a few years at another covenant church before resigning. Rev Taylor is a proud member of Phi Beta sigma Fraternity and is foodie at heart with interests in powerlifting and Aikido.
