Overview

This first anthology of Joe Doran's LayerWorld comic universe combines three action issues into one printed volume.

Get ready for a retro-style sci-fi erotica blast! When standout athlete Denise MacPherson gets on the wrong side of a U.S. Senator, after splitting from his son, she suddenly disappears. Her longtime friend Keven Hughes ends up being enlisted by Denise's father to find her in LayerWorld.

Professor Malcom MacPherson explains that the LayerWorld project, first pursued in the early 1960's, sought to bring back advanced technology from a seemingly abandoned alien dimension. But when getting mission participants back from the place dubbed "LayerWorld" proved undoable, the Government began sending dangerous criminals and other "earth rejects" there, as an "off-world" prison.

Denise's father has been secretly working on technology that might make LayerWorld more than a one-way "vibe-shift" away from earth. And Keven, who now holds the only hope of bridging the chasm, must try to locate Denise, then make it to a rendezvous point to test Professor MacPherson's theoretical achievement.

These adventures meant for mature readers happen in two places: earth c. late 1970's to early 1980's, and the other-worldly vibeshift known as...LayerWorld.
