Overview

This is Victoria Montani’s first published book. She is very excited to also be the illustrator of this book.

The inspiration for this little story came from a tree that had fallen to the side of the road at the bottom of her street. The tree had taken on an exact resemblance of a dragon, horn and all! It was clear that this dragon and all the wonderful creatures that live in this wooded area and in her backyard would come to life on paper! She took some snapshots of the tree and went to work on writing this charming story.

At the end of Laurel Lane is a very pretty golf course where a lot of deer are seen watching the golfers from afar. This story has a very “local” touch and the ending has a universal message of fairness, community and peace.
