Sir Arthur Conan Doyle fue el creador del detective más célebre de la historia de la literatura, Sherlock Holmes, y su inseparable compañero, el doctor John Watson. Las 12 historias recopiladas en este volumen se publicaron entre 1891 y 1892 en The Strand Magazine. Sir Arthur Conan Doyle was a British writer and medical doctor. He created the character Sherlock Holmes in 1887 for A Study In Scarlet, the first of four novels and 56 short stories about Holmes and Dr. Watson. The Sherlock Holmes stories are generally considered milestones in the field of crime fiction.
