When we bought our first house my wife insisted that I make the property more attractive. We loved the house but the outside left much to be desired. A few skinny shrubs and a plain driveway were all the property had to offer.
Luckily, we had the vision to see the home in an improved state. We were one of the few people who bought a house with no curb appeal. The house was sound and that was our biggest concern.
In accumulating information my goal was to amass both informative and useful information that could be put to use without spending an arm and a leg.
Along the way I found it difficult to locate information about landscaping that men or women could readily understand and utilize without having a degree in landscape architecture. Not wishing others to have such a difficult time I decided to put them all in one place.
