About the Author

Born and raised in Bradford, Yorkshire, Christopher Wright began researching his family history while still at school fifty years ago. After a university degree in French and professional qualifications in banking and education, he enjoyed a varied career in business and finance, including over a decade as a lecturer in further education, before writing his maternal family history. Christopher is married with three children and two grandchildren and now lives in Buckinghamshire.
