One teasing tip from a professor, and a legend awakens.
Four Honduran teenagers travel to Guatemala to investigate if their teacher's words hold any credence. Fueled by his hint that the Mayan god Quetzalcoatl sleeps beneath Lake Atitlán, the four set out to prove him wrong- and enjoy a great vacation along the way.
However, one clue leads to the next, and suddenly they're not so sure that Quetzalcoatl is a myth. Stubbornly holding to disbelief, they visit popular Guatemalan tourist attractions in the attempt to convince themselves that they won't believe, but their curiosity won't leave them alone, and neither will the god for which they came looking.
The quintet ends up with far more than it expected when it blunders straight into Quetzalcoatl himself.
They are now part of the legend.
