Overview

Reggaetonero Bryant Myers survived a kidnapping attempt and delivered his debut full-length shortly thereafter. The sonic palette here is a change-up from the hard hip-hop attack of the past. Myers offers his evolution as indicative of the current state of Latin urban that melds underground trap with slick pop production and hooks. Over 14 tracks, Myers and his collaborators deliver a sultry attack that's big on grooves and fingerpopping beats; he brings the thrum of the danceclub to the listener without completely sacrificing the grit. Pre-release singles such as the hit "Triste" (featuring Bad Bunny and produced by Alex Killer) and "Mas Que Ustedes" (feat. Messiah), grapple with the young male wish to be invincible, with the subterranean swagger of the street in "Prende un Phillie" (feat. Farruko) and the paean to cash, "Dolares."
