About the Author

Author Päivi Kannisto is traveling the world together with her husband Santeri Kannisto. Leaving Finland in 2004 was the beginning of a new career as Global Nomads. The couple have written eight published books on the road, both fiction and non-fiction.

Päivi received her PhD when she was twenty-seven and worked as a researcher and management consultant. Currently Päivi is making Global Nomad research in Tilburg University in the Netherlands. Santeri was a Finnish open source software pioneer and an entrepreneur. Nowadays he is making documentary films on the road.
