The Gracés house, in Asturias, mourns the disappearance of Angélica. Legend assures that there is a village under the river: perhaps the girl can be found there. Meanwhile, Martín, her husband, falls in love with another woman. When Angelica returns, she encounters death, and the young woman decides to become a legend, sinking in the river.
