Overview

When Krista left the city, she knew it would be for the last time; but could she leave it all behind? Set some time in our future, the Age of Pisces has passed, and with it the material world – the world of separation. As governments fail to act and their economies crumble, the Collapse opens the door for the final stage of human development; but how many will choose to cross the threshold – into a future whose lores are as old as time itself?
Few believe they have the necessary skills to make the change. For those who do, an exciting world awaits. Krista’s world is closer now as our population has exploded, instability has gripped our planet and climate change is now a reality. A must read for those who care about the potential of the human race.

In this first part of the series, when the effects of Climate Change are obvious and politicians have done their worst, Krista leaves the city and establishes herself in her new home amid a community prepared to live without money and laws determining their survival. A Seer visits and speaks of healing divisions and the return to the Halcyon Days; and visions excite the new tribe with future possibilities.

Originally published in paperback in 1992 under the title Nemeton, (which contained the stories of both Krista and Jovina), this revised series is perhaps more relevant than ever for readers of today.
