Sew CO edge to underbody on either side of body seam and in line with front wing seams with 6 sts bet legs, making sure the legs can support the airplane.
WHEELS (make 2)
Using E, CO 5.
Row 1: Kfb in each st across — 10 sts.
Rows 2–4: St st.
Rows 5–6: Change to D, St st.
Row 7: K2tog across — 5 sts.
Cut yarn leaving a long tail, thread tail through rem sts, gather tightly and fasten off. With right side out, sew ends of rows tog. With D section facing outward, sew wheel to lower edge of leg.
