I absolutely loved this book! WELL DONE, author of this Esoncian Warrior adventure! When I was six, I sat on my father's lap every evening and I remember him reading all the 'Narnian' books to me! The imagery was so vivid and the memory of those first stories put my feet well and truly on the road to reading! What an entertaining fantasy/adventure book! The illustrations complement the chapters beautifully and the story line is clear, yet provokes questions as to what is ahead of the hero and heroine. I will be recommending this book and look forward to the sequel. Mimi

This has a storyline which keeps you reading and wanting more; a real page-turner. My boys loved this book; they are 11 and 13, but girls would enjoy the book equally. Even though it's a children's book, it's a love story, a coming of age tale, a novel of the heart. I found an emotional bond to the main character...even though he is a hero in the making, it was easy to relate to him because of his doubts and awkwardness. I felt many emotions, love, hate and was genuinely gripped by various chapters in this book. I especially enjoyed the prophetic sayings at the start of each chapter. T Saleem

What a surprise and a delight to read, the Knight Blazer is an intelligently written book intertwined with a mysticism, wizardry and excitement as well as having an underlay message that is great for kids.
