About the Author

Bruce Barthelette, "The Big Guy," is a professional pool player, and one of the top ten trick shot players in the world. He has appeared on ESPN over 10 times, including the most recent World Cup of Trickshots tournament. He has played with Jeanette Lee, aka "The Black Widow," Mike Massey, Andy Segal, and Tom Rossman, among other top professionals in the game. He also also played with Ewa Laurance and Allison Fisher, two members of the Billiards Hall of Fame. Bruce, along with his wife Ann, has run the 2nd largest pool league in the country for the American Poolplayers Association (APA) for over 20 years. With more than 6,000 players in the league, the Connecticut division of the APA is second only to Maryland.
