Kane continued to watch Secret. She seemed to be dreaming. At any rate, she didn�t seem to be sleeping peacefully. Was she able to sense him even as she slept? If that was true, the connection was even stronger than he had suspected.
Soon enough, she would be worried enough to see a doctor, although that wasn�t going to help her in the least. No one would be able to figure out what was wrong with her. Except for him.
He wished that he could brush her hair out of her eyes as she slept. She was so beautiful. He was totally captivated. However, she had yet to invite him into her home, so he must be content with watching her through her French doors from the balcony.
Kane wondered what she would do if she were to awaken and find him so close to her bedroom. From what he had witnessed up to now, he figured that she would most likely be livid at having her privacy invaded in this way. The thought of how she would react had him smiling a bit.
On the other hand, if he was correct in what he was thinking, she would need him in the very near future, whether she wanted him around or not�.
