Overview

The ten creatures depicted in this book are characterized as 'KINDA' creepy meaning that they look far more dangerous than they actually are to people.  They are more likely to be creeped out by us that we should be of them and are typically not harmful unless we disturb them or accidently 'bump into' them.  Having said that, the pain they inflict from their sting or bite can be severe and may require medical attention. Only rarely have encounters with creatures shown in the book resulted in life-threateningsituations.

The bubble text in each illustration is intended to capture the key moment of my encounter with each of them in an amusing way. The text accompanying the images on the opposite page is meant to offer some fun facts to educate young (and maybe some older) readers about the anatomy, the life history and their relationship with people that make these creatures 'KINDA' creepy.
