KILLERS ON THE ROAD TO VEGAS
We can all relate to a mother's love for her children. Whether or not we have been a parent at least we have all been a child of a parent and know how strong this parent-child bond can be. This book illustrates the incredible love two mothers had for their sons who traveled to Los Angeles. What makes this story so remarkable was the fact that the mothers lived in Israel. Their sons stayed in constant contact with their mothers by daily phone calls. Their sons had ventured to the USA in hopes of becoming professional disc jockeys and making a new life for themselves.
Then one day the phone calls ceased and there was no communication. The mothers tried to locate their sons to see if something was wrong. The best information they were able to come up with was their sons were moving from Los Angeles to Las Vegas. If you were one of those mothers what would you do, especially when you were in Israel on the other side of the world? Call your local police to make a Missing Persons report? You contact your local police and you are told to file a report from where your sons disappeared from.
So you contact LAPD to make a Missing Persons report since they had lived there. When you do, you are asked, "What was their known address?" You indicate they were moving to Las Vegas. You are instructed to contact the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department. You do, and they ask, "What proof do you have that they arrived in Vegas?" You indicate you have none, so you are told that they can't take a Missing Persons report under those conditions. The explanation given to you is that, in all likelihood, your sons just wanted to get away from you, their over protective mothers.
As unsettling as it was for the mothers, in part, to be blamed for their sons' disappearance, they couldn't get any law enforcement agency to look for their missing sons. Can you feel the frustration that these mothers went through? This book takes you through a maze that no parent should have to go through, however their story is something that every parent should know about.

About the Author

Do you like True Crime books that tell you the TRUTH about what really happened at the crime scene and don’t sugarcoat the facts to be politically correct, then you should try reading one of Ronald E Bowers books. He tells the story from the point of view of someone who was watching the detectives conducting the homicide investigation all the way to the final moments of the case when the attorneys vigorously argue their case to jurors in a crammed courtroom.
As a prosecutor for the Los Angeles County District Attorney for over 40 years, Mr. Bowers experienced first-hand some of the most sensational cases of our times. He takes you, the reader, behind the scenes to show you what really takes place in the Criminal Justice System. This will give you a perspective that most other True Crime writers never experience since they weren’t one of the parties to the action.
After Mr. Bowers retired from the DA’s Office, he began his second career as a True Crime writer. He reviewed thousands of cases he had handled at various stages and looked for the ones that had compelling stories which he crafted into spellbinding books that constitute his L. A. True Crime Series.
Later he created the DA Delta Force Series which focused on the special prosecutors assigned to the DA Major Crimes Division who concentrate their unique skills to seeing that the most heinous killers are brought to justice. This series highlights how these unique prosecutors exhibit a No Fear attitude and accomplish incredible feats in the courtroom arena.
True Crime writer Ronald E Bowers is remarkably qualified to reveal the Good, the Bad and the Ugly of the Los Angeles Criminal Justice System. His books give the reader the feeling of being personally involved in every phase of the case from the crime scene to the ultimate results in the courtroom.
