Overview

“Kids Time With Father Time” is a book that is focused on getting children between ages six to eight to learn how to tell the time correctly. The book was written by a mother that was inspired by her own personal experience that she had teaching her own children. From her own observations she realized that children not only needed thing to be fun but wanted variety as well to keep them focused.

As such she uses different types of clocks to keep them wondering which type is coming up next. The process is simple and any parent can use the book to give the child a start reading clocks or can use it to reinforce exactly what they are learning in school.

Of course there are other books out there focused on teaching children to tell the time but none can be found quite like this one. This book is a great source of reference of any household with young children. The greatest thing about it is that the information is presented on separate pages so it is not too overwhelming and one thing can be focused on at a time. It is a great way for a child to learn.

About the Author

Daisy Wright had an interest in putting together some children’s books after the experience that she had with her own children, teaching them and watching them learn. She saw that they had fun and wish to convey the same sort of feeling in what she wrote.

With the encouragement of her husband she started to get the research done and began to compile the information to put together her series. She made the option to start with a book for children aged six to eight on the basics of telling time.

Daisy is aware that it is a lot of information for a child that age to assimilate and has made the effort to keep everything as simple as she possibly can. She also uses different clocks to keep the young minds captivated.

The great thing is that she has written it based on her own experience that she had teaching her own children. She knows that it not only has to be fun but also that should not be too long to bore them. The whole aim that she has is to make the process of learning as fun filled as possible. Learning to tell the time is fun!
