About the Author

Hailing from California with Southwest Florida roots, my name is Savannah and I’m a lifelong book lover, a self-proclaimed social introvert, a proud wife and mama of 3 not-so-littles anymore, and a new author who has finally ‘pen to papered’ my very own children’s book. I'm also a hardcore family wanderluster with a sweet spot for Tennessee, a lover of all things Autumn, and recently turned my black thumb green - Whoop to keeping plants alive! On a more professional note, I’m a dual owner of a real estate business and a boutique – efforts that landed me a spot on the Business Observers 40 under 40 in 2017 and a business feature in Inc Magazine’s Top 5000 Business of 2022. Not to give away all my top secrets, but I've got my 7w8 enneagram personality and TONs of coffee (iced, to be exact) to thank for helping me keep up with that.

Overall, I’ve always dreamed about writing a book one day - not exactly a children’s book, but life works in funny ways, and I am so excited to be able to share those swirling storylines in hopes that it will add a little bit of joy to your child's bookshelf. And as a survivor of domestic violence (DV), I love every moment of proving that even being dealt a poor hand of life cards, you can still end up winning the game with thriving colors. That said, I look forward to making your story time sessions more exciting, using literature to help little kiddos process some big feels, and offering fun-loving life lessons that draw young eyes in from cover to cover.

Since you’ll always find me with a glass of water in hand, cheers to the first book, and cheers to many more!
