Overview

Keith Kangaroo, a highly respected member of the animal community, formulates a plan to do something environmentally good for the country he loves.
Joined by his furry, scaled and feathered friends, Keith helps to unite all of the animals of Australia to clean up their environment and work together for the good of Down Under.

About the Author

Hi, I'm Margie and live in Sydney, Australia. I am the author and illustrator of 2 children's books, Anacondas to Zebras - Alphabet Fun and Keith Kangaroo Cleans Up Down Under. I have really enjoyed writing and illustrating these two books and hope that children will be entertained by the storyline and amused by the bright and humorous illustrations. At Toy Box Publishing we try to help children develop a love of literacy and learning through language and engaging illustrations and hope that these books nurture, teach and inspire.
I have also illustrated The Adventures of Saxon - It's Cool to be Different. The storyline and bright, eye-catching illustrations creates a lovely message of self-acceptance and pride, inspiring young readers to believe that it's cool to be different.

My favorite medium is watercolour pencils and ink. I feel that the stories come to life with the colourful and bright pictures this medium helps to create that delight children's imaginations. I always try to add a touch of humor to my illustrations, it keeps the readers and myself amused.

I am very much enjoying writing and illustrating children's books and hope that these books bring pleasure to many children and intstils in them the love of reading.
