Keep Me Fed, the fourth album by Monterrey, Mexico's Villarreal Sisters -- Daniela, guitar; Paulina, drums; Alejandra, bass -- ups the ante from 2022's Error and their global-attention-grabbing performance at 2023's MTV Video Music Awards. This 12-track set, produced by Anton DeLost, delivers rifftastic yet bone-crunching opening tracks "Six Feet Deep" and "SICK" (the latter is one of six pre-release singles). There are hookier, though no less heavy jams, including the funky hard rock in "MORE," the filthy-sounding bass-led metallic pop of "Satisfied," and the pulsing "Consume." Further, this album showcases their sonorous clean vocals and their profound, streetwise, yet spiritual lyrics.
