About the Author

About The Author

K. Nikki Gardner was born on June 6, 1976 in Harlem, New York City. She began writing short stories at the age of 4. Gardner began her first novel, ‘A Lesson Not Forgotten’, in the year of 1998. It began as a diary expressing her involvement in a previous abusive relationship and developed into a novel. From there, Gardner created 4 other novels, one being a sequel. In 2007, Gardner finally self-published one of her novels, ‘Between A Rock And A Hard Place’, under her company Harlem’s Jewel Production, in which she is also a DJ and events planner with her partner Mr. Kemp. Her novels involve all relationships – those with the people in your life and the deep relationship you have with yourself. Her novels help her readers understand that love doesn’t always end happily ever after, that friends may even be your enemy, or worse – you may be your own worse enemy. But through all adversity, there is always hope. Enjoy and become involved in Gardner’s roller coaster novels that include betrayal, suspense and erotica that’ll keep you turning the pages.
