About the Author

This is a book by internationally ranked karateka Richard A. Heyman, a 7th Degree Black Belt in Goju-Ryu Karate, with Kyoshi teaching credentials, and a 3rd Degree Black Belt in Jyu Jitsu with Level Two Examiner Credentials from the United States Judo Assn.. Mr. Heyman originally studied under Shihan Gosei Yamaguchi, then Shihan Motoo Yamakura. He is an expert in self defense.
