D. in History from the Ooa University, Author of the boolnHealih and Hygiene in Colonial Goa, 1510-1961, she has also contributed research papers on Health, Women and Social Institutions in Ooa, in publications and research seminars in Goa and Portugal. Dr. Gracias was a recepient of a Fellowship of Fundagao Orienle-Lisboa (Portugal).
