Overview

Justice For Elle

Justice For Elle is a sad book about a young girl who has unfortunately had something bad happen to her, who sees no justice being done for her, and it depresses her. Elle is raped by a boy she goes to school with named Tommy.

It wasn't something Elle was expecting, not even Tommy was planning to do what he did; they were just school kids in high school but life changed for the both of them.
Elle is never the same again and Tommy is stuck with an incurable guilt that he can't ever shake off him but he will never admit it was true, pleading not guilty leading to the court ruling him not guilty.

I don't generally write books like this but I remember I was at work and I began to think of the reality that justice isn't always served; sometimes there's just not enough evidence or perhaps the jury doesn't know how to know who is truly innocent or who is guilty, or perhaps on occasions, sadly to some people it might just be that, jury duty.

Perhaps they just don't care. Not speaking of every person. only the ones; sometimes it doesn't fit in the mind how the ruling could go wrong and favor the guilty.

Well in this book, the court doesn't seek justice for Elle and Elle feels like they robbed her of it; her innocence was stolen and she secretly wishes that someone will get her justice, she doesn't even want to live. She feels terribly betrayed by the ruling of the court.

At the end she finds hope but her being taken advantage affects her life in more ways than one when she ends up in an unexpected predicament, losing a baby she wasn't even planning to have; which the pain and the anger all bring her to take matters into her own hands; but when the rifle is in Elle's hands; what does she do?

Elle proves Tommy wrong.

Justice For Elle is a sad book but Elle finds a brand new start at the end after so much pain...but she is never going to forget it; the emotional havoc it wreaked on her life; neither the physical pain of labor. Something will always be missing, but Elle is going to be okay.

Her life became a portrait of black and white; and it was the picture she lived in inside of her mind, where the winter was long and the trees were barren; where the green of the earth was far after debated. The light of the day had become sore like a whisper. The look in her eyes, looking more like a blister.

When will justice be made for her? when will someone avenge her? when will the spring come...if only it could make her live again.
