About the Author

Larry Sorensen taught high school English, speech, drama and writing for 32 years. He was the sports editor for the Sac Sun in Sac City, IA for 2 years and wrote a weekly column for that paper. He wrote and produced 4 one-act plays and one full length play during his teaching career.

Upon retirement, he served as managing editor of the Boone News-Republican in Boone, IA for over a year and wrote a weekly column for that paper.

His poetry has been printed in several anthologies, and has published an e book of poetry called A Different View. Sorensen also has a web site: larrysorensen.com and writes for associatedcontent.com, which is part of Yahoo.com. He currently resides in Sioux City, IA where he continues to write and work part-time at Barnes & Noble.
