About the Author

Stacy lives in California. She has been in education for over 10 years. Her favorite part of the day is getting to read picture books to students. She also enjoys road trips, being at the beach, reading, and spending time with her nephew, nieces, and her dog.

Almost 10 years ago, her dog, Ginger (a boxer) was given to her as a gift. Together they have traveled across the United States. Ginger, also known as Gin, Ginny, Ginger roo, Gingeroni, GiGi, and GINGERRR, and her story of being the runt of the litter is the inspiration for Stacy's book.
