Overview

In the midst of all the miracles and visits from the angels, Dorrise Maxwell sought guidance.
As a child, she took to heart when an elder stood fast and said, "Don't talk about it." She was left both curious and confused. For many years, she questioned could there be others with similar experiences, or did she stand alone. Even though she had been instructed just don't talk about it, occurrences simply could not be held inside any longer. Finally, seeking answers, Dorrise Maxwell knew that now was the time to talk.

About the Author

Dorrise Maxwell was raised in the small town of Sunset, Arkansas, alongside eight sisters and two brothers. Her parents truly believed that family unity and a good education coupled with church was necessary to establish a proper foundation for success. Family, school, and church became her escape from adolescent growing pains.
Sunset was a close-knit community where indeed the village raised the children. Thereby the utmost respect was given to all—especially the elders.
Dorrise Maxwell was a college professor, who retired from the United States Navy. She has one son, a daughter-in-law, and two grandsons. She is now an ordained minister and resides in Cordova, Tennessee.
