A Baby Boomer hits back. No, we didn�t destroy the planet in spite of what you may read elsewhere. We Baby Boomers had a fairly tough upbringing. I was 7 before rationing stopped. I didn�t see chocolate, never mind taste it until I was 6. There was no political correctness, human rights legislation, mollycoddling or computers when we grew up. No cell phones, facebook, or twits. Thank God.
I�ve been married twice, the first time for 25 years and the second for 14 years and counting. My wife and I have 6 kids between us, three of each. They call us the Brady Bunch. After 50 years in UK I moved to the US to be with my second wife. Turned out to be the right thing to do as not long after Tony bloody Blair took over and destroyed my country.
The US has their own version of Tony Blair trying to do the same over here now. We�re in this mess because we all borrowed too much money. So the answer is to borrow another bucket load.
Yes I am a classic Grumpy Old Man. And proud of it. We baby boomers had standards and lived by them, we didn�t all go to Woodstock, or even want too.
