About the Author

Shawnte Lawrence was born and raised in Flint, Mi, the oldest of eight children. Growing up, in poverty and abuse, she adapts to every book she writes. Through her talent as an author, her mission is to get a message out to the world, even if it's good or bad. Being a single mother of seven children, she is determined to survive through her struggles by using her gifts from God in her writing. Shawnte Lawrence hopes to comfort those and help build a shield to help prevent certain situations that can occur in someone's life if they don't take the proper precautions. She hopes to one day be a motivational speaker, to help guide single mothers, and teenagers on the right path, making them aware that giving up is never an option. Having a free, loving heart, she hopes to build a personal relationship with all her readers and refer to them as family.
