About the Author

Leo Pacheco is an award-winning philanthropist, author, speaker, minister, counselor, business consultant, former radio and television host, and the Founder and President of two non-profit organizations.

For his philanthropic endeavors, Leo has been featured on a number of television programs including CBS’ Spirit of the Season broadcast, among others. In 2004, ABC news affiliate, KMGH, awarded him the prestigious Everyday Hero Award for his humanitarian efforts to aid Colorado’s homeless and low-income population.

In addition, Leo Pacheco is the recipient of two presidential awards, the President’s Volunteer Service Award and the President’s Call to Action Award, both presented by President George W. Bush in 2004 and 2005 for his lifetime commitment to the betterment of the American citizens.

In addition to his expertise in non-profit management, Leo has spent the past 15 years in Human Resource management and consulting. Today, he continues to consult with various businesses in need of his HR expertise, as well as counsel those who are grieving.

Leo is a native of Colorado, where he continues to reside with his lovely wife, Angela, and their son, John. In his spare time, he enjoys traveling and outdoor recreational activities.
