About the Author

Madison Thompson is a freshman at The University of Missouri Honors College and has direct admission into the Donald W. Reynolds Journalism School. She is the oldest out of two siblings and loves to read and write. Her Poem Supermarket was a finalist in the 2019 KET writing contest. Madison hopes to get a career in Broadcast Journalism along with becoming an author.
