Anne De Vries was a prolific writer in many fields. His most concentrated efforts were reserved for children's and young adult literature, of which Journey Through the Night is the second work to appear in English translation, following The Story Bible for Older Children (OT and NT). Before becoming a full-time writer, Anne De Vries was a schoolteacher.
