About the Author

I'm an artist but during the middle of 2022 I was in a rut and wanted to try creating journals. I ended up loving that process but on September 25, 2022 the unimaginable happened when my husband took his own life. This event was not only shocking but our whole family has been effected by it. None of us knew my husband was struggling and we miss him every day. My husband was an accomplished musician, he loved playing electric guitar, he wrote his own music and loved road trips with me and no matter what crazy idea I had, he'd always say yes. He had this infectious laugh and the best corny jokes too.
My husband also loved and supported my art and the journals I created so, I decided to start making them again to help me cope with my grief and to honor his memory.
