About the Author

Michael J. Livolsi, a former singer/songwriter, was born in Brooklyn, New York, in 1945. He spent his early years in San Diego, California, and moonlighted for several years as a singer in local nightclubs. For the past thirty-seven years, he has lived in Arizona. While working for a major aerospace corporation in the Phoenix area, Michael earned certifications in Human Resource Management and Business Management at Arizona State College of Business. During his tenure in aerospace, he held various management positions, including an eighteen-year stint in Human Resource Management and ten years in Sales, both of which provided him the opportunity to travel extensively around the globe. Now retired, Michael has been married for fifty years and is a proud grandfather. His interests include music, exercise and enjoying quality time with his four children and eight grandchildren. Michael has always loved to tell stories, and others have loved to listen. Being a fiction writer since his retirement has brought him great joy and satisfaction, especially when the long hours of writing are rewarded with memorable endings to his novels. Michael has written three novels, the latest being The Braided Locket, a romantic mystery. His first novel, Hidden Purpose, a captivating thriller-love story, and his second novel, Jonathan Archer: The Quest, a wonderful romantic fantasy of adventure, have kept him motivated to press on and continue writing the many stories that are still evolving in his mind.
