About the Author

Ken Womble is an Associate Professor of Theatre at the University of Northern Colorado. As a New York and Los Angeles actor for over fifteen years he appeared in two Off Broadway premieres and was the voice of a BBC radio announcer in Freud�s Last Session at New World Stages. He recurred on Guiding Light and three other soaps.
Ken continues to act regionally in such productions The 39 Steps, Private Lives, God of Carnage and Picnic (regional award Best Actor) at Colorado�s Little Theatre of the Rockies. He is a member of Actors Equity and SAG/AFTRA.
He frequently directs, including The Odd Couple (Female version) at Colorado�s Little Theatre of the Rockies, and award winning productions of The Three Sisters and Dancing at Lughnasa. For television Ken directed the situation comedy pilot Under the Desk.
Ken was commissioned by the University of Northern Colorado to write and direct the first-ever documentary film on novelist James Michener, James A. Michener, An Epic Life. His adaptations of A Midsummer Night�s Dream and two other classics have been produced throughout the U.S.
He coaches actors for film, television and Broadway, and conducts audition and film acting workshops at numerous venues. Please visit his web site, kenwomble.com, for upcoming workshops.
