About the Author

Ripon Kumar Das born 5th Jan 1951 at Jorhat city , Assam, India.
His father was a renowned body builder .Worked under Govt of Assam as an Inspector of physical training, authored many a books on gymnastics and asanas.
Ripon graduated from Guwahati university in1971. Obtained degree in alternative medicine ,from college of alternative medicine Calcutta in1991 .
Served Central Govt of India paramilitary department from 1976 to 2008.
His first story" Private detective was"published in local news paper অসম বাতৰি।
later converted into novelette "Manuh jadihe nohoi manuh"in 1976.
"Yantra manab" and "Heruwa Chandar Sandhanot" (a series of 3 books) crime novels published by local publisher Readers book stall in1986.
Novelette ";krundashi diganta" was published on Guwahati based woman magazine Kangkan in1989.
During service he wrote novelette "Pratishruti" ";sainikor diary." "Ashantir uh Bichari " " jogashana and Byam " "Masked gentleman ".and many more.
Ripon settled in Guwahati the capital city of Assam on 2008 . He loves his mother tongue very much. During his early childhood he had joined language movement and he still writing without any support from any corner just to spread and keep Assamese language alive.
