About the Author

Born in Jamaica, a Caribbean island, the author, Omar C. Coote, obtained a dual degree in Business Administration and Risk Management and Insurance from Georgia State University. His professional credentials include Microsoft Certified System Engineer (MCSE), Cisco Network Engineer (CAN), Licensed Real Estate Appraiser, Licensed Real Agent, Licensed General Contractor, Licensed Insurance Agent, Inventor, and a business owner.
Omar Coote constantly challenged himself in the classroom and took his education seriously, realizing that he could never accomplish so much without a good educational foundation.
From a young age, Mr. Coote loved business and always considered himself an entrepreneur.
He is a mentor, husband, and, most importantly, a father. He lives with his family and continues to try to be an exemplary role model for his daughters.
His journey exemplifies the transformative power of strategically navigating the path of employment to achieve personal growth and success after graduating from the university with dreams of becoming a successful entrepreneur and establishing his real estate and general contracting company.
His first meaningful job after graduation was not the glamorous business venture he had envisioned. Instead, he opted for an entry-level, ground-floor position as a conductor and laborer for a major Fortune 500 railroad corporation. Though seemingly distant from his aspirations, he recognized the value of this opportunity and the potential it held for his future endeavors. Working diligently on the railroad, Omar Coote faced the scorching heat of a summer day, conducting labor-intensive tasks with unwavering focus. Despite the challenges, an unexpected encounter with an outside observer's mockery did not deter him from his mission. Instead, it fueled his resolve to excel in his current position, understanding that this was the first step to unlocking greater opportunities.
With a college degree and qualifications that exceeded his current job requirements, Coote saw beyond the immediate circumstances and harnessed the financial resources provided by his work to build his first house and invest in properties, paving the way for residual income and early retirement.
