Overview

Using a black magic marker and a gray work jumpsuit, Jim Crumley of Buchanan, Virginia, drastically changed the nature and purpose of hunting camouflage when he created the first sportsman's camouflage – Trebark. Crumley's idea that vertical camouflage patterns best represented objects in the forest and created an illusion of a tree stump or the trunk of a tree brought into being a new term, "sportsman's camouflage." Prior to Crumley's forward thinking, most of the camouflage used for hunting was military camouflage. But Crumley's love of bowhunting and his desire to be more invisible changed hunting clothing forever. Throughout his life, Crumley has been a constant student of how to bowhunt better, and his desire to learn new and better techniques for bowhunting was one of the reasons he created Trebark camouflage. In this hunting guide he shares the wisdom that he's learned throughout his lifetime about how to be a hunter, how to find a deer lease, how to scout for deer and more. I'm sure his deer hunting tips will help you take more bucks with your bow this deer season.
