About the Author

Elizabeth Letcher saw her first jewelry Christmas tree at her grandmother Naomi’s house in the 1970s. It was love at first sight.

In 1997 she inherited the tree. By this time, it was badly damaged: pieces were missing, and the lights no longer worked. She lovingly dismantled it and added two more generations of jewelry during the restoration. The process was so enjoyable, she has created more than a dozen trees since then, giving them away as gifts.
